Nominated for Design Award

We have just received the wonderful news that we are nominated for Bolig magasinets Design Awards 2011. All of the nominated will be published in Bolig magasinet no.137

Now they are 6 years old

Now the two little ones turned big. Six years old and starting school this summer. Time goes so fast. Like in the Fairytales we celebrated them for many days. Friday we had 25 kids for Spaghetti bolognaise and the next day the house was full of 30 friends and family. New big bikes and schoolbags. Proud kids.

Birthday

It is not Sabine I see when I look across the table, but Bror. His kindergartend was closed and I forgot, so he had to c had to go to work with me. Sabines two kids Mingus and Sofia celebrates their birthday today. Hope they have a good day. Good weekend to everyone.

Jægersborggade

It took a friend all the way from New York to make me visit another area in my city. Shame on me.

We spend hours in Jægersborggade. We admired the beautiful ceramic with the most tactile glazes from Uh la la, bought a lot of handmade caramel from Karamelleriet, had lunch at Lyst, coffee at The Coffee collective, enjoyed the fragile ceramic from Inge Vincent, and bought a little something for myself at My favourite things.

Animals

Are you up to beetles or dogs ? We have just put some new platters in our shop. Go and have a look !

A friend from New York

I am taking a day off as I have a friend from New york visiting. He got me this little wooden New York skyline from Muji. So I can look at it very time I miss the city to much. Must go back soon.

Sabine´s home in Boligliv

Now who had thought that – my living room on the front page of Boligliv. I hadn´t that’s for sure.

When we are out taking photos in people’s homes they tend to apologize for all the unfinished projects and the details that are not quite solved yet, although you rarely can see it unless you live there – but I understand them now. Thank you to all of you who have been around our shop

Astrid Lindgren´s world

I left Kristine behind and spend some days in Sweden in Astrid Lindgren´s world. A fantastic place for kids and childish adults. There was everything from Pippi´s Villekulla cottage, Simon small´s house, Emil from Katthult, troublemaker street and Noisy village.

New pillow cases

We have added a few pillow cases to the shop. Go and have a look.

Last step

Kristine found this four clover while walking the dog. Hope it will bring us lots of luck in the future.

Finally we made it for the last step of the process – putting on the ceramic transfers and firering them for the last time. The yellow will disappear in the kiln.

The colors of the rainbow went a little crazy – so that one will not make it to Paris.

A new process for us

This time we have been working with new clay and glazes. We are very excited to see the result. The process has been so nice - hope the result will be too.

Our workshop are full of strange creatures. Waiting to become piggy banks. Thank you so much Lili for your help regarding glaze and clay...it works really well.

Bosch and Flakfortet

What a day we had yesterday. Bosch invited us on a wonderful day trip to the island Flakfortet to see and try out their new products.
