Avantgarden meeting

Had a really good meeting yesterday with the girls from Avantgarden. We are going to show our work at London Designweek in Septemper on Tent. Can't wait, but sooo many things to do before.

Amazing woman

Sabine Brandt from Sister Brandt must be the most thoughtful and giving woman we know. She turned a grey Monday into joy sending us this present with a beautiful plate and lots of inspiration to our next projects for London. Thank  you so much!

Broken work

Sometimes working with ceramics sucks! Look at what happened in the kiln today. Our new piggybanks that are going to Paris on Monday came out broken.  We want weekend now.

My mother gave me two Bjørn Wiinblad posters yesterday. The posters were hanging in my childhood home, now they are here in my home...feels good.

My home

Tomorrow a Japanese stylist and photographer will do a photoshoot in my home. Man...I have been working like crazy.

In these wonderful surroundings, Royal Copenhagen launched their new tableware Blue Elements by Louise Campbell. Beautiful pieces, wonderful Michelin food and really good company. In the stores from October.

Monday

It really is a grey monday morning and I am not feeling inspired at all. Just want to sit at home drinking my homegrown mint tea. The weekend was too short. Hope you feel different.

First day at school

Now I have two kids in school. Crazy. Goodbye to kindergarden and hallo to school. Bror was really nervous, but he ended up having a great day.
Must say that I can't get my arms down for our local public school. Much have been written about public schools and not for the good. But we are more than satisfied. Professional, creative and competent people are taking care of our children and give them such a safe environment to grow in. It is a school that reflects the world we live in and learns the children to be openminded and full of acceptance of each other despite diversity. Repsect!!

Goodbye summer

It feels funny looking at these summer pictures when Kristine and I are busy working with the Christmas issue of Boligliv. I must try harder to get in the wintermood.

Macrame

More pictures from my fathers place. The top picture is a  photo of a macrame doorway curtain made by my oncle long time ago. I really would love to make something with that technique 

My favorite hideaway

We also spend time in France at my father’s magical place in Provence. We even had the French tooth fairy visit 3 times. The kids looked more and more funny.

First stop Spain

Back again from one month in the south with no internet, television and with only a phone that worked on and off. It has been fantastic! It took a long time to understand that I had time enough to do nothing.
