Mingus and his new lavender colored scarf

Yesterday we received a soft packet from Grandma Alice. She has just knitted some leggings for Sofia and this time it was a beautiful lavender colored scarf to fit the leggings. But Mingus got pretty sad that he did not receive anything and Sofia immediately sensed it and said” I think it is for you” And Mingus got so happy that he had to sleep with his lavender colored scarf on all night.  I am happy he do not care about the colorpolice that dictates what colors boys and girls should wear- Next time he should go for a sweater.

Weekend

Last weekend it was all about birthdays. Bror turned 7, not a little guy anymore and Sabine had birthday too. This weekend is all about relaxsation..wish you all a relaxed weekend.

Dog love

I must admit, having a dog is a challenge. There is a lot of practical things you have to take care of, it almost feels like having a little child, but having said that, the benefits are so much bigger. The love that little creature gets from both Bror and Alba are incredible. It really is the best way to learn about responsibility and empathy. Big doggy love!

Easter

Yesterday we were invited to Paustian to see Royal Copenhagens new easter collection. So delicat and beautifully served food. Inside the porcelain easter eggs, there was heavenly food made by Lisbeth and Bo Jacobsen.

A year older

It´s my birthday today and I feel so lucky. For three days now I have been celebrated and it isn’t even over yet.  Lucky me!

Blue sky

Kristine is home celebrating her boy today. I enjoy the light and the blue sky and get all sentimental.

Omaggio in new colors

Yesterday morning was spend at Stillebens shop being presented the new designs from Kähler. We particularly liked the Omaggio range made by the two talented girls Reckweg and Schou Nordentoft.

We do know that grey is hot – but when it´s that hot we think it´s not, so we went for a blue and a green oneJ

Distorted Barbie

Sofia got her first Barbie girl this Christmas and she loves her  – and I love Sofia’s distorted version of her.

Richard Pearse

We felt a bit naughty treating us self to another day away from the workshop. This time at Malmo to see the exhibition by Richard Pearse at Krets gallery. It was so rewarding and beautiful.

Creative boy

This weekend Mingus and I attended a workshop at The Copenhagen Children's School of Art. It is such a great place for kids. This day we were working with Ecoline liquid watercolors and I had fun too.

On the front cover

Friday

What a nice friday we had.

Kristine totally surprised me with a lovely breakfast with eggs,smoothies, coffee and freshly baked bons. Afterwards we went to Arken to see the exhibition with Warhol and Basquiat. The film about the life of Basquiat made a big impression on us. Made us think about our own lifes. A good way to start the weekend.

We are getting the last details finished for our Flower me happy pots so they can be sent to production. Very exciting.
