Hrafnkell and the volcano

Our photographer is in New York at the moment. With us is Hrafnkell Birgisson. He is from Reykjavík and graduated as a product designer from the Academy of Fine Arts in Saarbrucken, Germany. His conceptual work covers the fields of product design, exhibition design and interior architecture.

Vik Prjonsdottir knitting-project is examples of self-initiated collaborations with fellow designers and small local manufacturers.

Visited this sweet fairy and her mother and brother this weekend. The weather was fantastic and I came home with plants for my garden.

This morning I went to Lisa's studio Underwerket to have a cup of tea. Talked about being a businesswoman....I think she is a cool one. Got some sweet presents from her recent trip to New York.
