Smushies and cakes
Flügger invited the press to see their new beautiful color palettes and wallpaper. The scene was set in Royal Cafe, one of the most cool cafes in Copenhagen. We were served cupcakes and smushies, a mix between the traditional danish "smørrebrød" ( open sandwich ) and sushi. So delicat and beautiful.

Started out perfect
It started out as a perfect day. Kristine and I meet at a café for breakfast thrilled about having a whole day devoted to inspiration. At Hay we enjoyed KiBiSi´s presentation of the Expo Chair, Shane Schneck thoughts behind the Ru Chair and Hee Welling´s talk About a Chair.
It was around this time Kristine left, too sick to continue. Together with Laura I had the pleasure of listening to Karen Kjældgård-Larsen´s story on how she designed the Blue Fluted Mega for Royal Copenhagen. I had too many delicious cakes from La Glace – and I was happy -Until next morning when it was my turn to fell sick. For two days I have not left my bed, but I have enjoyed the spring light thought the windows. Tomorrow I will go for a walk.
