A magical night

My talented almost-sister had her release concert at Copenhagen Jazz house with the most spectacular scenography made by Iben Høj. Her album ‘Visitors’ is available on ITunes now.

Self-portrait

The next exhibition at Louisiana is about the self portrait. Sofia found the catalog and immediately got interested. So she took down the mirror and tried to capture herself. A difficult discipline she thought. Especially her lips troubled her.  

I remember the period in my life when I was also fascinated by the self portrait, mostly photos I took of myself. They are really funny to look at now. Must see the exhibition.

Absorbed in clay

Thisweekend I brought home some clay and the kids and I ended up staying in our nightgowns and not go out for two days. Flamingo dancers, ganesh and luckyfortune cats were some of the things they made.

Pure pleasure

Have just come home from a wonderful holiday in Greece on the Island of Leros. Could have stayed longer.

A day in Copenhagen

 First we went to Glyptoteket and enjoyed the beautiful indoor garden and the sculptures.  The kids and I took turns of making up stories about the sculptures and what was happening. Afterwards we walked to Christianshavn and had a pizza slide by the water. We ended up in Christiania were there was music. What a nice day together.

Birthday for Mingus and Sofia

Mingus and Sofia turned 7 this weekend and we had some wonderful days with sun and garden party.

90 years old with a strong spirit

I just spent a week in France to celebrate my grandmorther´s 90 birthday. She is such a strong woman. She still does her own cleaning, shopping and cooking. She even made a fantastic Partridge dinner for all of us. Congratulations!

Easter never stops

Easter don’t seem to stop at our house. Mingus and Sofia are still producing paper cuts. I must put an end to it soon.  I am getting an overdoze.

Alice and I

Grandma Alice is knitting and I am playing around with the color combinations. I love my part of the work. It will end up somthing like this
