avantGarden - Private view

Thank you so much all of you lovely people that came to the privat view of avantGarden.

The show will stay until the end of September.

Our rug

Finally we got to see our rug! A transformation from papercut to a 7 meter long and 4 meter wide carpet. It was very satisfying and we felt like taking a ride on the lions

First stop at the workshop of Louise

Arrived at Århus thursday and had a lovely lunch at Louise´s workshop, while putting our owl in her kiln.

Leaving for Århus

We are so ready to party now! Leaving for Århus tomorrow morning putting up the exhibition AvantGarden.

We are still decorating the owl, as the first one exploded in the kiln. Ceramic can be such an ungrateful material. We will have to fire it in Århus - so it will be brand new and hot at the private view.

Lili Scratchy

Her characters are crazy, sweet and absolutely wonderful. Love the works of Lili Scratchy ( ...and what a name!)

Decorating

Staying late today at the workshop. Have to be finished on time.

One week left

We have one week left before our exhibition AvantGarden. We are working like mad decorating our ceramic animals. Please come to the private view on friday the 28 of august.

Formland in Herning

Went to the designfair in Herning. Lots of great new stuff.

My favorite spot

Back from 3 lovely weeks in France with lots of sun and good food.

After saving this beautiful butterfly from a long swim in the pool, it became our friend and followed us everywhere to say thank you. At least that is what the kids believed in.

Sofia finally came over her”I will only wear purple” – period, and this is now her favorite dress.
