In London we stayed at our dear friend Sidsels apartment. Loved to be with her, David and sweet Ingmar Ray for a couple of days. Thanks to you sweet people.

September and October are full of birthdays in my family. Friday my sweet niece Molly turned 3. Lots of presents, beautiful cakes which my mother made, and inspiration from their cool home. Love you Rasmus, Stine and Molly and thanks a lot for the nice present on my birthday Sunday.

Off cause we just had to see this flower show created by the Flower Council of Holland. Appetites by Lisa White and Bouquets of Emotions by Miriam Van der Lubbe & Niels Van Eijk.
Apparently it took them two full days, 100 kilos of earth and a small garden of plants and cut flowers to install the Appetites show. There were orchids, rare roses, venus fly traps, black peppers among many others. The wallpaper was the new ‘Sweetpea’ pattern by Cole and Sons, in a provocative black. It was so seductive, decadent and breathtaking.
Bouquets of Emotions were five different bouquets representing different emotions: sympathy, love, happiness, anger, and jealousy. You can see the bouquet of Anger (last picture) that was conveyed through snipped rose stems and withered branches. Absolutely beautiful - but wouldn’t like to receive one of those.
We are back again filled with lots of inspiration from 6 intense design days in London.
Here is a bit from The Factory where Tom Dixon and George Smith had transformed a Knightsbridge ballroom into an upholstery factory creating a new collection on site.

It is a Japanese fashion brand but the name is Finnish, because the designer loves the Finnish culture and have traveled a lot in Scandinavia. Anyway......we love his design and beautiful patterns, they are so feminine and yet really cool. Will it ever come to Denmark or do we have to go to Japan?

We really LOVE the work of the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon. His design is absolutely outstanding. We would love one of his lamps 'Funghi', which he made for Metalarte. They have just arrived to Denmark and can be bought in Casa Shop. The pictures above are from Jaimes sketchbook....wow.

Was that really it for this year? The summer here in Denmark is almost like a dream. It is so short and intense, and you always got so many plans, but in a way it just seems to slip away without you noticing. Hope you all had a nice weekend.
