Mixed emotions

Now we are back to work again. Even though we LOVE our work it is always with mixed emotions that we start after a long holiday. Fortunately we have a lot of exciting projects, and then there is a trip to Paris waiting.

Les Marchés

When I was a child I spend my summers in France. My father and his 2 brothers lived in an old watermill and every Saturday developed into a party - Because Saturday was marked day. Everybody would meet for a drink at Café des Voyageurs, then they would buy lots of food and all go back to the watermill to eat and drink.

We continue that tradition.

The smell of Provence

If you could only smell it too – the ground is literally covered with thyme flowers so every time you take a step, this strong smell of Provence meets you.

The magic place

The rest of the time we spend at my father’s hut on the top of a small mountain besides Gorges de L´Ardeche. He has made such a poetic place there.

Cote d ´Azur

We came home very late last night from France. I love the first minutes when you see your home again after a long time. You see it differently- but only very short and it is back to normal again. In these few minutes you can sense its real spirit.

What a lovely holiday we have had. We had no computer access for nearly 4 weeks so I will be posting a lot from France in the days to come.

The first week we spend on the cost, mostly in water.

Things can happen

One moment she is running around so happy, suddenly the next she has a hole in her head. We had to go to the hospital, but luckily nothing really bad happend. Poor Alba. Makes me think how fast life can change, I am happy I can't tell the future.

New twin cousins

Summertime is family time. Cousin Matilde and her twin brothers came for a visit.
