Our new kiln

Yes, our new kiln has arrived and we can't wait to start using it. We have missed this kind of work so much and now it is here.

At the same time we have found a place in Portugal that are now making 3000 vases for us. Very exciting!

Things to see in Copenhagen

If you are going to Copenhagen for a couple of days, here are some fine places to visit.
Stay at the organic hotel Guldsmeden at Vesterbro. In this neighborhood you will also find good shops like Donn Ya Doll, nice places to eat and design shops.
Ceramic lovers must visit Stilleben. Worth a visit is also Hay House, Illums bolighus and The Royal Café.
If the weather is nice take a trip to Christiania and enjoy a place full of fantasy and room for diversity.

Decoration for Christmas

A month ago we had Sabine’s house filled up with Christmas stuff. A bit early you might think but we were decorating a window for Christmas which will be shown in BoligLiv later this month.

Evren Tekinoktay

If you are in London right now, go to The Approach galleri, where you can see the danish artist Evren Tekinoktay. Beautiful beautiful. Evren also owns the most sexy lingery shop in Copenhagen called Finest Lingerie.

Fixing up the studio

Today Kristine's dad are coming and will help us 'pimp up' the studio. We have bought some paint for the front door and one of the walls. We are going to have some new pendels and a working table to make our ceramic on. It is going to be a practical day today.

As promised, more info about Tullinsgade i Copenhagen. It is not only The Worlds Smallest Coffeebar that is worth a visit. If you are there pay a visit to the underground gallery Can. Cool place where you can pick up a lot of inspration. After Can you can go to Priip, a shop with good quality, mostly danish, design. Perfect place for a unique present. On the other side of the street there is Hansen og Jensen, fantastic papergoods and childrens clothes from Paris and New York.

End up at Thiemers Magasin for books, coffee and cakes.

The worlds smallest coffeebar

Here in Copenhagen we got the 'Worlds smallest caffeebar'. It is placed on Tullinsgade and is definitely worth a visit. Don't wonder if there is a lot of japanese, the cafe is mentioned in a trendy Japanese travel guide . If you are there take a walk down the street and see all the cool shops.
