As some of you probably know the textile designer Josef Frank is one of our absolut heroes. Josef Frank made these textile in the 50'ties, but they are still ulta modern. Take a look at all his beautiful designs sold through Svensk Tenn.

Rebuilding the house

Round about this time last year we did a major rebuilding on our house.
Now the light is poring in though the windows, making me so happy.

Crafts Fair Copenhagen

If you are in Copenhagen this weekend, August 14-16 you will be able to see the annual event Crafts Fair at Copenhagens Frue Plads. The fair is arranged by the Danish Arts and crafts Association. All 140 participants of the market are members of the association.

La Roque sur Ceze

La Roque sur Ceze is my favorite little village. This is where I dream to have my little medieval house with a view of the ‘Cascades du Sautadet'.

Sofia has had a purple period for a long time now, where she would only wear purple clothes. On this holiday I packed her bag with new dresses in lots of different colors so she had no choise. The red dress is from H&M.

My fathers hut in Provence

We are back from holiday full off energy and ready to attack the design world.

As my father is French we spend time in Provence every year. Here are pictures from his lovely primitive hut in the mountains. – As you can see he is still an old hippie.

Summer

Congratulations to Lisa, she gave birth to a wonderful little boy 7 days ago. Went to visit her yesterday in her lovely communal garden.

Off on holiday

This is our last day at work before holiday, so we have been working like mad to finish everything. We are off for five weeks so the blogging will be really on and off. Sabine are going to France to visit her father and grandmother, and I am going to our summerhouse. Happy holiday to all of you!!!

The shop & The Table

“Butik for Borddækning” (Shop for Table Settings) represents nine designers and craftsmen, each with their very different expression of idea, form and materials.
The products at the shop invites to imaginative use of the the table as a compositional space and gives inspiration to various table settings. Objects made of different materials such as glass, porcelain, earthenware, concrete and wood contrast each other in shape, colour, texture and scale.

Flensted Mobiles is a family business that designs and makes mobiles since 1954. They have just designed a mobile for the Guggenheim Museum and to Beauhaus in Weimar amongs lots of other things. I gave Kristine 'Futura' to her birthday last year, and now we are dreaming of Life & Thead with pink and purple for our studio.
