A day with flowers

We spend all day yesterday with a group of stylists at a flower event hearing about the newest trends. At the end we got to take home flowers – so our studio was filled.

Tal R for Fritz Hansen

The patchwork edition is an interpretation by Danish artist Tal R in 2008 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the chair. Tal R has made 50 unique patchwork Eggs for Fritz Hansen. Every one of them are absolutely fantastic.

Mørk Winther

We love the work by Birgitte Mørk Winther a cool ceramic designer. Her ‘Darkling cups’ and hand cut porcelain “diamonds” are sold at Stilleben in Copenhagen. She is also blogging.

Cecilie Manz

Talking about the Manz family, we also have to show the work of the daughter Cecilie Manz. Cecilie Manz (b. 1972) is educated in Denmark and Finland and has had her own design studio in Copenhagen for almost 10 year. Through her company, Manz Lab, she designs furniture, glassware and lamps but as a solo designer she also develops experimental prototypes.

Summer in Denmark

When the weather is good in Denmark, as it is right now, you don't even dream about going anywhere else.

Please let it last a little bit longer.

Bodil Manz

Bodil Manz was born in Copenhagen in 1943 and has been known as a master of eggshell porcelain for many years now.

Her cylinders are slip cast porcelain, which she decorates with geometrical patterns on both sides, applied with plain decals. The effect is a pattern on the one side, offset by a shadow of a related pattern on the other. – just beautiful.

We have just discovered the wallpapers of Suzy Hoodless. We love the fine lines and the colour combinations.

So many fantastic things made of wood. Here are some of them. The Mushroom stools and Walking man bench are from Autoban, the coathangers from Muuto, the lamp is made by Tom Rossau and the amazing cyrly bench was one Sabine found on the best designblog, designboom.

Great weekend with crazy kids and birthday

Great weekend with fantastic weather. Saturday, birthday with Sabines twins, birthday cakes and barbecue untill late evening, very cozy!! Sunday, crazy kids atacking uncle Rasmus in the summerhouse.
